about us.

training philosophy.

Training Regiment is one of the very few fitness and handgun training organizations in the world intentionally founded using Adult Learning Theory and Constructivism Learning Theory.

This means that you are a critical member of the learning and teaching that occurs in every course we teach. We know you chose to train with us because you are looking for answers to a question only training can provide. We also know that sometimes the best answer to a complex question is discovered when learners and instructors combine life experiences to answer novel questions.

our formal academic education.

Our course design team and instructor cadre have undergraduate degrees in Business, Law and Society, Human Resource Management, and Psychology. The team also has advanced degrees in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Directorship, and Applied Learning Science.

We have combined our education and experience to build some of the most impactful learning experiences on the planet.

our industry experience.

Like most handgun instructors and fitness professionals, our team has professional experience in both fields from employment as civilian Texas peace officers, private investigators, personal trainers, and military members with multiple deployments to active war zones.

What makes us different than most training organizations is that we know that the experiences above do not guarantee firearms or fitness training depth of knowledge or proficiency needed to train others. We continuously seek training and coaching in both fitness and handgun employment in high-stress, dynamic environments from our industry-leading peers.
